IELTS is scored from 0 to 9, with half-bands awarded. Each band describes how well you use English.

How much does IELTS cost in Kuwait?
IELTS costs 106 KWD. The fee is the same for standard IELTS (Academic and General Training) and for IELTS for UKVI.
How fast do I get my results?
Because the test is computer-delivered, results are typically available in 2 to 5 days through your candidate account.
What do I need to bring on test day?
Bring the valid, original identity document (passport or Civil ID) that you used when booking, it must not be expired.
Where are your test venues?
We run IELTS at four venues across Kuwait: Salmiya, Sharq, Sabah Al Salem and Abu Halifa. See the Venues section for maps.
What's the difference between Academic and General Training?
Academic is for university and college study. General Training is for migration, work, secondary education and training. Listening and Speaking are the same in both; Reading and Writing differ.
Can I retake just one section?
With computer-delivered IELTS you may be able to take a One Skill Retake, re-sitting a single section instead of the whole test. See the policies section for details.
Can I reschedule or get a refund?
Yes, within the notice periods. You can transfer your date or venue, or cancel for a refund minus an administration charge. See the policies section.
Is the test on computer or paper?
All IELTS tests at our Kuwait venues are computer-delivered.
How do I check my results?
You can preview your results online with the official results checker, and your Test Report Form follows. Use the “Check my results” button in the results section.
Do you support candidates with special requirements?
Yes. We arrange reasonable adjustments for disabilities, medical conditions and specific learning needs, see the Special requirements section and contact us early.
